In July 2025, Tahira Mohamed and George Tsitati delivered presentations to an AGNES-AICCRA online course on key user dimensions affecting the use and uptake of climate information services.
The training was delivered as part of an Advanced Course on Climate Information Services (CIS) — co-developed by the African Group of Negotiators Expert Support (AGNES) and AICCRA.
The five-week online course enrolled 286 participants, of whom 119 men and 36 women met course certification requirements. Monitoring data show significant post-course self-reported increases in CIS skills and confidence, early professional application, and informal and formal organizational shifts.
